INDIAN WEDDING MAKEUP

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending one of my boyfriend's cousin's weddings. Before the actual wedding there are sometimes (in traditional Indian culture) occasions called a Roce. This event is where family and friends come together to celebrate and bless the bride and groom to be. This couple in particular requested everyone come in traditional clothing, and although I could not wear the entire outfit due to my large belly, I tried to spice up my LBD as much as possible, focusing on makeup and accessories.

For this look, I used MAC Pro Longwear foundation as it gives buildable medium coverage, and lasts all night without smudging or creasing.. or disappearing when you give about a hundred cheek-to-cheek kisses. To set my foundation I used Estee Lauder's Luminous Powder to blur any lines, bumps, or imperfections on my face. This powder is translucent and personally a product I will probably repurchase my entire life. For my [very subtle] highlight and contour I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit which is powder based. My palette is light to medium.

Brows were done with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Chocolate.

My lips have been very dry since pregnancy started for me, so using an intense or dramatic colour wasn't really an option for me this day. A subtle rosy pink had to do.. no liner.

Earrings are Kate Spade.

I am currently trying to get my picture quality to be much better, as I am aware of how hard it is to see the makeup well in the washed-out lighting in this picture. Please bare with me as I get this all set up, I promise better quality photos to come!
